Tightening treatments work on the structural support beneath the surface. Resurfacing works on the surface itself. Patients who ask for one when they need the other are the most common source of disappointment in facial aesthetics.
XERF is non-invasive radiofrequency and does not resurface. MultiFrax resurfaces and does not tighten structurally. Morpheus8 sits between them, delivering radiofrequency at depth through fine needles.
Living with Central Texas sun
Austin's UV exposure influences almost every decision we make about laser and resurfacing timing. Recent sun, active tanning and certain medications all change how skin responds, and pigment can worsen when treatment is too aggressive too soon.
Expect an honest conversation about seasonality, preparation and daily photoprotection as part of your plan rather than a note at the end of your visit.
