These terms overlap, but they do not describe one universal facial. At Grace, they refer to a personalized skin-quality plan using the appropriate professional topical Rejuran formulation, with a device when the concern calls for one.

PDRN
Polydeoxyribonucleotide: DNA-derived fragments studied in several medical and cosmetic contexts.
PN
Polynucleotides: a related category. PN and PDRN are not automatically interchangeable.
Salmon DNA
Consumer shorthand for purified salmon-derived DNA material used in certain professional products.
Rejuran
A professional product family. Formulation, route and protocol determine what the name means in practice.
Why have I seen Rejuran being injected online?

Rejuran and related PN/PDRN treatments are used differently around the world. Injectable polynucleotide treatments are widely discussed internationally, particularly in Korea and Europe.

The Rejuran professional protocols described on this Grace page use the U.S. professional products topically in connection with appropriate skin treatments.

Different formulation. Different route. Different protocol.

Grace tells patients exactly what product and approach are being used rather than treating every treatment called “PDRN,” “salmon DNA” or “Rejuran” as though they are identical.

The eye area is where the difference between adding volume and improving skin quality becomes especially important. Fine lines, crepey texture, dryness, dullness and thin-looking skin are not automatically filler problems. Grace's PDRN Eye Renewal pairs professional topical Rejuran with the device selected for what the eye-area skin actually needs.

Not every eye bag is a skin problem.

PDRN Eye Renewal is designed around fine lines, dryness, delicate texture and crepiness. It should not be represented as eliminating protruding fat pads, correcting every dark circle or replacing structural treatment when true hollowness, fluid retention or another anatomical issue is responsible. Grace evaluates the anatomy before recommending treatment.

The Korean glass-skin goal

Smooth. Hydrated. Luminous. That's the idea.

“Korean glass skin” describes skin that looks exceptionally smooth, hydrated, clear and luminous. It isn't one universal facial, and PDRN isn't the only way to get closer to that appearance.

Grace looks at what is interrupting that finish—texture, pigment, dehydration, pores, laxity or active skin concerns—then builds the treatment around the cause. PDRN may be one part of that plan.

Glass skin is the goal. PDRN is one possible tool.

Evidence in context

What the research can—and cannot—tell us

Research on PN and PDRN includes different materials, formulations, delivery methods and indications. Evidence from an injectable or wound-healing study should not be presented as direct proof of Grace’s topical Rejuran protocols.

PN/PDRN research is promising but heterogeneous

A 2026 systematic review included seven randomized trials and 183 total participants across skin rejuvenation, scar prevention and wound healing. The authors reported encouraging findings, but sample sizes were small, protocols varied and no meta-analysis was performed. The review studied the broader PN/PDRN category—not Grace’s topical Rejuran protocols specifically.

Under-eye skin quality and volume are different goals

A 2026 narrative review described hyaluronic-acid filler as an established option for selected structural tear-trough volume, while polynucleotides were discussed for skin-quality measures. The paper was not a head-to-head clinical trial and noted substantial variation in the evidence.

Candidacy & expectations

A professional skin-quality plan starts with candidacy.

Tell Grace about allergies—especially fish allergy—active irritation or infection, pregnancy or nursing, medications, recent procedures and prior product reactions. Treatment may be postponed or declined when the skin barrier or medical history makes that the safer choice.

Temporary sensitivity or redness may occur depending on the complete protocol. When a Rejuran formulation is paired with another treatment, the device or procedure usually determines the more relevant recovery instructions.

Results, session count and timing vary with the concern and the treatment plan.
