Real Grace patient · body transformation

A weight-loss journey can become a whole-body journey.

This patient's broader transformation included two SculpSure treatments. Her result is not presented as medication-only or SculpSure-only proof; it shows why overall weight change and localized contour concerns should be evaluated separately.

The Grace Weight Journey

One plan, continually reassessed.

These stages can overlap. The sequence evolves with your response, and no patient is assumed to need every medication, measurement or aesthetic intervention.

  1. 01

    Evaluate

Begin with goals, health history, candidacy and what you want this change to accomplish.

  2. 02

    Measure

Establish useful baseline information, including InBody body-composition data when appropriate.

  3. 03

    Treat

Build an individualized medical or supportive plan rather than choosing from a fixed package.

  4. 04

    Track

Follow response, tolerability, weight, fat-mass and lean-mass trends at meaningful checkpoints.

  5. 05

    Tighten / Shape

Evaluate skin, tissue, muscle and localized contour concerns when and if they become relevant.

  6. 06

    Reassess

Adjust the plan as your body, priorities and stage of the journey change.

Medical weight management

Prescription care belongs inside a larger plan.

Grace considers health history, goals, previous treatment, response and tolerability before an appropriate option is prescribed. The complete program includes more than medication alone.

GLP-1 receptor agonist

Semaglutide

Starting at $199/month

May reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness. Response, tolerability and dosing vary.

GIP + GLP-1 receptor agonist

Tirzepatide

Starting at $299/month

May reduce appetite and increase satiety. Response, tolerability and dosing vary.

Pricing varies by prescribed dose. Treatment eligibility and dosing require medical evaluation.

What's next in medical weight loss?

Retatrutide is important to understand—not available to buy.

Investigational · Not FDA-approved

Retatrutide is a next-generation triple agonist in clinical development. It targets GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors, while tirzepatide targets GIP and GLP-1 and semaglutide targets GLP-1.

As of September 2026, retatrutide remains investigational and is not FDA-approved. Grace does not offer retatrutide for treatment or purchase. Our educational guide explains retatrutide weight-loss research and the retatrutide vs. tirzepatide conversation without presenting separate trials as a promise or scoreboard.

Add context to an existing plan

Already taking a GLP-1 somewhere else?

Grace may still add value through evaluation, InBody body-composition tracking, nutrition and lean-mass awareness, and assessment of how your face, skin and body are changing. Medical decisions remain individualized, and a consultation does not guarantee that Grace will assume prescribing responsibility for an outside plan.

Measure what matters

The scale tells you how much you lost. InBody helps show what you lost.

Scale weight cannot separate fat mass from lean tissue. InBody estimates add context to the trend so progress conversations can include body composition—not only the total.

  • 01Fat-mass trends
  • 02Lean-mass trends
  • 03Skeletal muscle
  • 04Body composition over time

InBody provides estimates for trend monitoring and does not replace medical diagnosis.

The Grace difference

Don't wait until the end to manage the transformation.

Significant weight loss can change skin laxity, facial volume, muscle tone, localized fat and overall proportions. Grace evaluates those changes throughout the journey instead of automatically postponing every conversation until goal weight.

When appropriate, selected non-surgical support may be considered while weight is changing. Early and ongoing evaluation may support skin, tissue and body-composition goals and may reduce how much correction someone desires later—but outcomes vary, and non-surgical treatment cannot promise to prevent surgery.

  1. 01Evaluate change while it is happening
  2. 02Distinguish skin, fat, muscle and volume
  3. 03Use treatment only when the concern and timing support it
  4. 04Reassess as weight and priorities evolve

What is changing?

Different tissues. Different problems. Different strategies.

A smaller number on the scale does not explain whether the next concern is localized fat, loose skin, lean mass, facial volume—or a combination.

Fat

Overall weight change and a localized fat pocket are not the same concern. Body contouring addresses selected areas, not weight loss.

Muscle

Lean mass and localized muscle support belong in the body-composition conversation alongside nutrition and resistance exercise.

Face

Facial volume loss and skin laxity can become more noticeable during substantial weight loss—and they are not interchangeable problems.

Face changes during weight loss

Treat what changed—not the nickname.

“Ozempic face” is a popular term for facial volume loss, skin laxity or both becoming more noticeable after substantial weight loss. Grace evaluates the actual layer and concern before discussing timing or treatment.

Body changes during weight loss

Tightening, muscle support and localized fat are distinct.

Significant weight loss can reveal or worsen existing skin laxity. At Grace, we don’t automatically wait until you’ve reached your goal weight to start thinking about loose or sagging skin. We evaluate your current skin laxity, tissue quality and weight-loss goal together—because someone planning to lose 15 pounds may face a very different set of changes than someone planning to lose 50.

That starting point helps us anticipate where loose skin, sagging, facial volume loss or changes sometimes described as “Ozempic face” may become more noticeable as weight comes off. When appropriate, we can build skin tightening and body contouring into the journey and reassess along the way as your body changes.

The goal isn’t to predict your final result perfectly. It’s to see where the transformation is heading early enough to make a thoughtful plan for it.

Secondary support

Peptide & wellness conversations stay individualized.

Wellness support is considered within your broader medical picture—not presented as a shortcut, giant catalog or substitute for nutrition, movement, appropriate medical care or follow-up.

Grace patient perspective

“I’m very happy with Grace Med Spa. I started a weight loss program and body contouring program and LOVE my results. This was 3 months long and I saw them weekly, each week they were attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon for different services.”
