Non-Surgical Body Contouring in Austin, TX

Non-surgical body contouring at Grace is planned around three primary goals: reducing stubborn subcutaneous fat, tightening loose or crepey skin, and toning muscle—with zero surgery and minimal downtime. Fat, skin laxity, muscle tone, tissue texture and fluid retention are different concerns, and treating the wrong one is one of the most common reasons patients are disappointed by non-surgical body work.

Treatment may draw on Morpheus8 Body, SculpSure laser fat reduction or EvolveX, chosen after a careful assessment of what is actually shaping the area. LIPOcel remains an advanced focused-ultrasound option in the device comparison below.

Start With the Layer

What Is Actually Changing Your Shape?

Two areas can look similar from the outside while being shaped by completely different factors underneath. The first step is distinguishing what can be treated locally from what requires a different approach.

Localized does not mean overall

Subcutaneous fat sits beneath the skin and may form a measurable, pinchable pocket. Visceral fat sits deeper around the organs and is not treated by a body-contouring device.

Measurements can change for different reasons

Fat volume, tissue quality, muscle support, bloating and fluid retention can all influence how an area looks or measures.

One concern may involve several layers

The right plan may address one dominant issue or combine treatments that work through different mechanisms.

Choose by the Concern

Different Layers. Different Solutions.

Grace does not treat every abdomen, flank or thigh with the same machine. Each body sculpting option has a specific role, and some treatments legitimately work across more than one layer.

Recognize What You’re Seeing

What Kind of Body Concern Are You Actually Seeing?

Many body concerns look similar at first glance, but the underlying issue is not always the same. At Grace MedSpa, we look at whether the area is mostly localized fat, skin laxity, poor muscle tone, tissue texture, fluid retention, or a more overall body-composition concern.

Concern type

Localized Pinchable Fat

This is the kind of fat you can often grab or pinch in a specific area. It is usually different from generalized weight gain and is often treated as a localized contouring concern.

Treatments often considered

Educational example only—not a Grace patient, diagnosis, or before-and-after result.

Not every concern is caused by the same tissue problem.

Two people may both dislike their abdomen, thighs, or waist, but one may need fat reduction, another may need skin remodeling, and another may benefit most from muscle-focused treatment or broader weight-management support.

Grace adds objective body-composition measurement to that assessment with InBody analysis, so progress can be tracked beyond the scale.

Focused HIFU

LIPOcel

Focused ultrasound for appropriate areas of measurable, localized subcutaneous fat. LIPOcel’s primary role is fat reduction, with secondary tissue contraction that may complement the resulting contour.

1060 nm laser

SculpSure

Applicator-based laser fat reduction for defined pockets that can be framed cleanly across areas such as the abdomen, flanks, back and thighs. Results develop gradually as treated fat cells are cleared.

RF + muscle stimulation

EvolveX Transform + Tone

Transform combines bipolar radiofrequency heating of dermal and adipose tissue with electrical muscle stimulation. Tone focuses on muscle stimulation when definition or support is the primary concern.

Fractional RF microneedling

Morpheus8 Body

Tissue remodeling for crepiness, skin quality and appropriate body laxity. Morpheus8 Body is selected when the concern extends beyond fat volume alone.

Cavitation + RF + manual contouring

DreamBody Sculpting

A 60-minute, circumference-focused treatment combining 40K cavitation, radiofrequency and Colombian-style manual contouring for contour refinement, smoother-looking texture and possible temporary fluid response. DreamBody is not presented as equivalent to LIPOcel or SculpSure fat destruction, and it is not a weight-loss treatment.

Overall or visceral concerns

Weight Management + InBody

When overall body composition or visceral fat is the main concern, medical weight management may be the more honest starting point. InBody data can provide useful baseline context, but no single BMI, body-fat or fluid measurement automatically chooses a treatment.

The Same “Stubborn Fat” Complaint Can Lead to Different Treatments

Body sculpting is not one procedure. Two people describing the same area can need entirely different approaches, depending on what is actually creating the shape.

01

LIPOcel may make sense when

There is a measurable, pinchable area of subcutaneous fat and focused ultrasound can appropriately reach and treat the target layer.

02

SculpSure may make sense when

A defined pocket sits on an area that can be framed effectively with laser applicators and gradual fat-cell clearance fits the patient’s goal.

03

An injectable may make sense when

The concern is especially small or focal and a specific injectable approach is medically appropriate after evaluation.

04

DreamBody may make sense when

The goal is lower-commitment circumference-focused contour refinement, smoother-looking texture, temporary fluid response or maintenance within a broader plan.

The decision is based on tissue, pinchability, area geometry, skin quality, muscle contribution, health history and goals—not on one device automatically outranking the others.

One Concern · Multiple Possible Causes

What Looks Like “Belly Fat” or “Cellulite” May Not Be One Problem

Menopause, pregnancy, weight change, skin quality, muscle support and fluid retention can overlap. That is why an outside appearance alone cannot determine the right treatment.

Menopause abdomen

Fullness may include both deeper visceral fat and localized subcutaneous fat, with changes in muscle support contributing to the silhouette.

Postpartum abdomen

Loose skin, stretch marks, localized fat and possible diastasis are separate findings. Evolve Tone is the muscle-focused option and has been studied in postpartum women with diastasis recti, but true diastasis requires appropriate evaluation and should not be described as corrected by a body-contouring device.

Dimpled or puffy thighs

Fibrous septa, skin quality and fluid retention can all influence texture. A smoother appearance is not the same claim as permanent structural correction of cellulite.

More Than One Layer May Need More Than One Step

Stage 1

Address the dominant concern

This may mean stabilizing overall weight or selecting an appropriate treatment for localized fat.

Stage 2

Reassess the contour

As the area changes, skin quality, tissue laxity or transitions between treated and untreated areas may become more important.

Stage 3

Support tissue, tone or texture

EvolveX, Morpheus8 Body or DreamBody may be considered when muscle support, tissue quality or surface refinement is part of the plan.

Not every patient needs every stage. Treatment timing and sequencing are personalized, and Grace does not perform competing fat-destruction treatments on the same area in the same visit.

The Grace Body-Contouring Approach

A Plan Changes a Contour. A Device Treats Only Its Assigned Area.

A practice with only one body device has to describe every patient’s concern in terms that device can treat. Grace keeps multiple options so localized fat does not get confused with loose skin, weak muscle support, fluid retention or overall weight.

When useful, planning may include standardized photography, circumference measurements and an InBody baseline. Appropriate patients may also use Grace’s infrared sauna, LED belts or vibration platforms according to provider instructions. These supportive amenities are not presented as substitutes for treatment or as independently causing fat loss.

Multiple treatment mechanisms

Honest surgical referral when appropriate

Clear Expectations

Clear Expectations Are Part of the Treatment Plan

  • It will not reproduce surgical liposuction or skin removal.
  • It will not treat visceral fat with an external contouring device.
  • It will not repair a true abdominal diastasis.
  • It will not guarantee a specific number of inches, pounds or sessions.
  • A same-day measurement change is not automatically permanent fat reduction.

When a patient’s goal genuinely requires weight management, medical evaluation or a surgical consultation, Grace will say so.
