Are fat-dissolving injections all the same?

No. KYBELLA is an FDA-approved branded deoxycholic acid injection for moderate-to-severe submental fullness in adults. Grace's LipoDissolve is a compounded PCDC formulation prescribed for an individual patient; it is not FDA-approved. The products are not interchangeable.

How does Grace decide between KYBELLA and PCDC?

The provider first examines the area, skin and underlying anatomy, then reviews your history and goals. KYBELLA's labeled use is limited to fat beneath the chin; a compounded PCDC plan requires an individualized prescription and assessment. Injections may not be the right answer at all.

Can either injection tighten loose skin?

No. Removing appropriate fat does not tighten lax skin or change deeper neck or jaw anatomy. Grace may recommend a skin-focused treatment or a surgical evaluation instead.

What about a larger body area?

A larger area may be better suited to a device such as LIPOcel or SculpSure, or surgical evaluation. Neither injectable is a weight-loss treatment, and KYBELLA is not approved outside the submental region.
