External Appearance & Tissue Firmness
Non-Surgical Labial Tightening with FormaV
FormaV can be used on appropriate external vulvar and labial tissue as well as internal vaginal tissue, using controlled bipolar radiofrequency with no microneedles and no incisions.
In Grace’s experience treating with FormaV since 2022, a visible improvement in external tissue firmness is common on treatment day for appropriate candidates.
Think of a silk scrunchie. When its resting recoil is stronger, it gathers in; when that recoil softens, it rests more relaxed. Controlled RF warmth can prompt an immediate tissue response, which is often what women notice the same day, while collagen and elastin remodeling continues over the following weeks and across a series. The comparison is a way to picture elasticity, not a literal picture of anatomy.
What can change the same day?
In Grace’s experience, many appropriate candidates see visibly firmer external tissue by the end of their FormaV appointment. That early response reflects controlled warmth acting on the tissue right away.
Collagen and elastin remodeling then continues gradually over the following weeks and across a planned series. How much changes, and how long it lasts, varies from person to person, so Eva reassesses as you go.
Is FormaV an alternative to labiaplasty?
People often search for “non-surgical labiaplasty.” FormaV improves tissue firmness and quality, but it does not remove, reduce or surgically reshape significant excess labial tissue.
If your goal is a significant reduction, a consultation with an appropriate gynecologic or plastic-surgery specialist is the right next step. For mild tissue-quality or laxity concerns, Eva can assess candidacy privately.

What has actually been studied?
The evidence is encouraging but still developing. These studies support careful discussion, not universal promises.
Transvaginal Bipolar RF · Urinary Measures
Earlier data suggest an effect on urinary-distress scores.
A 2021 retrospective two-site chart review compared bipolar and monopolar transvaginal RF. The bipolar group showed greater improvement in UDI-6 urinary-distress scores, although some benefit diminished over time.
This was not randomized, the groups differed, and some bipolar patients also received CO₂ laser. It is not strong enough to position FormaV as a substitute for pelvic-floor rehabilitation or established incontinence care.

Randomized-trial evidence for radiofrequency in GSM is growing.
A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis included eight randomized clinical trials. Some patient-reported outcomes improved, while Vaginal Health Index findings did not show a significant difference across comparators.
This is broader RF evidence, not a FormaV-only analysis, and it does not establish FormaV as a replacement for standard gynecologic or hormonal GSM care.

A Similar Name — A Different Treatment
FormaV is not the same treatment as facial Forma.
Both use controlled bipolar RF principles. Forma is an external facial or body skin treatment; FormaV is a specialized intimate-wellness applicator and treatment pathway.
